About the Book

The Forgotten
Girls

There is a fascination with true crime stories that have been a staple of human curiosity for centuries. There’s something about the darker corners of human nature that draws us in, making us question what drives individuals to commit these heinous crimes. Working on my cases in the interview room I sought to find those root answers. If we can find the root cause of why individuals commit crime, then we can try and control crime.

My journey with this book began when my co-worker, Glenn, came to me and asked if I wanted to go to New Jersey and see the Lindbergh case museum with the New Jersey State Police and of course look for new internships for our students. This was probably one of the best adventures I had. While we were there, we also investigated the Sigrid Stevenson case since it was near where we were staying. We toured the stage where she was murdered and looked at the police reports. This is where my journey led me to write this book.
